Location
Lalzit Bay is one of the most popular holiday destinations in Albania. It is known for its child-friendly beach, good restaurants and bars. Adults will also enjoy a tour of Duka Winery and Vineyard (15-minute drive) which includes wine tasting and a fine lunch.
Tirana is a 45-minute drive and makes a great day trip. It is an eclectic mix of Ottoman, Soviet and Fascist architecture. The city is easy to explore on foot. Blloku is an exciting, young area, full of cafés and interesting boutiques. The main square – Skanderbeg Square is a must-see. The city’s markets offer a window into everyday life. The New Market, Pazari Ri offers a wide range of local produce.
