A traditional cottage 9 minutes walk to the beach and castle . The bedroom overlooking the garden has a single bed and a small double, the master bedroom ( sea facing ) has a double bed with a very comfortable mattress. There is space for a cot in either bedroom. The refurbished kitchen blends in with the 18'' thick stone walls and original features such as beamed ceilings and mosaic marble sink outside - great for preparing lunch in the sunshine. Grape vines shade the dining patio and a high stone wall makes 'Phoebe' a private little haven. There's a gated parking area which doubles as a secure play area. You can walk to the beach over the wild and beautiful cliff tops - or more directly through the village. Stroll past the bakery (the smell of fresh bread is irresistible); grab a pastry, and as your route is straight down the historic main street between the end of our little lane and the castle, you can also collect a coffee at Filio's and have breakfast on the beach with the clear waters of the Ionian Sea lapping at your toes.
