Positive: The room had a great view over the bay and was a good size. Porch overlooking the bay was great to hang out on. Kitchen was adequately stocked with equipment to cook our own dinner. Verica and the other hosts we met we're extremely great hosts and very friendly. They were more than willing to help us navigate the tricky driveway situation. There are also some nice spots to swim right out in front of the Vila.
Negative: We didn't realize the final payment had to be made in cash; they did not accept credit card. Luckily the total price of our stay was low enough that we could take it out under our single day ATM withdrawal limit. Driveway is very steep and narrow, and easy to miss. A sign indicating this is Vila Verica would be helpful, as well as some more directions on where to knock to check in when we got there.
Summary: Beautiful views and accommodation over the bay, but some tricky situations to navigate.
