Summary: The hostel itself is nice, and the women’s room and facilities were clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, my experience with the front desk really affected my stay. While I was out sightseeing, I lost my room key card. When I returned, the woman at the front desk made me feel as though this was a major inconvenience and seemed very bothered by having to help me. She manually let me into my room, but I was then left without a key card for more than a day, which meant I couldn’t independently access the room I was paying to stay in. When I returned to the desk the following day, a different staff member was able to make me a replacement card very easily, which made the previous interaction even more frustrating. I ultimately decided to leave a day early. I realized I needed quieter sleeping conditions than a hostel could provide, but the key-card experience and the way it was handled also left me feeling uncomfortable and really threw off my stay. This was my first hostel experience, and while the facility itself was perfectly nice, unfortunately it will also likely be my last.
