This charming 400-year-old stone house, perfect for your Herceg Novi escape, is located near Porto Novi and Porto Montenegro at the entrance to Boka Bay. Beautifully restored, it preserves many original features and reflects the elegance of the baroque period.
With stone walls, wooden elements, and intricate details, it offers a unique experience.
It’s the perfect retreat for peace, refocusing and relaxation—away from the city walls, noisy pubs and bustling streets, yet close to all key spots.
You are looking at fully refurbished old stone house that exist in Herceg Novi more than 400 years ,located 7min with car or 20min by walk from historic Old town Herceg Novi .
It is distributed over 2 floors and carefully decorated stone wall and wooden elements combined with ornamental details, a mix of natural, colorful, rustic and modern elements.
The house can accommodate 4-6 persons with air-conditioning and two bedrooms.
From the porch, we enter to the kitchen on the ground floor through the wooden doors.
The kitchen counts with all necessary utensils under the stairs to prepare dishes during your stay.
There is one dining table on the porch and another in the kitchen. The living room is equipped with a comfortable pull out sofa to the kitchen .On the second floor, we find two bedrooms (with a double bed) and a general bathroom with a shower. Bathroom is equipped with shower, sink and washing machine as well
One bedroom has king bed – 180 x 200cm wide and another bad room has sofa double beds - 160x200cm wide. Living room with pull out sofa bad (160 x200 ) for sleeping or you can use sofa for relaxing and watching TV
We have WiFi Internet, which is free of charge for you. Bed linen, towels are provided.
A Real gem is private garden to enjoy the sun and relax. Under the porch, in the shade provided by kiwi and grape you will surely enjoy memorable outdoor dinners, prepared on the barbecue.
The terrace and lawn area with plenty of space for children to play and as well a BBQ area, all for the exclusive use of our guest.
There is a private backyard with orange, lemon, olive, fig and pomegranate trees, and flowers ….overall approx. 1000 m2 .External paths and terraces are made with local stone and railings.
As we already mentioned our place has been renovated, however we did our best to keep the spirit and charm of the ancient captain’s place
Special highlights include traditional wall structure and stairs. Hand-made fence of stairways lead to the bedrooms and bathroom on the first floor
Special attention in the hallway is given to the pictures brought from Egypt and artifact dated from the history of 18 century
The shade of windows are painted green on the inside to ensure a soft comfortable light distribution, which emits downwards direct light
The house it is divided into two halves, one of which belongs to our neighbors. Both section are completely private and you don’t share area with them
The place is easily connected to other places, like UNESCO Kotor and Dubrovnik, with its museums, art galleries and restaurants, Porto Novi and Porto Montenegro are also so close.
Explore the old lanes, churches and little museum, join the cafe society, walk for miles, swim or dance, you will find all you need here. The privacy from the house mean that staying at home is also an enjoyable and peaceful way to spend a day or evening.
